ذخیره ساز HPE MSA 2062 نسل ششم از سری ذخیره سازهای HPE MSA است
( 45 درصد سریعتر از نسل قبلی )
کمپانی HPE در پی موفقیت جهانی ذخیرهسازهای سری MSA ، اخیراً نسل ششم این خانواده را با شماره مدل 2060/2062 روانه بازار کرده است. این ذخیرهساز نیز همچون مدل قبل اگرچه میتواند بصورت آرایه All-Flash نیز مورد استفاده قرار بگیرد ولی اساساً برای کاربردهای ترکیبی ( Hybrid ) طراحی و بهینه سازی شده است. بطور مشخص مدل 2062 دارای دو عدد درایو SSD با ظرفیت 1.92TB است که میتواند متناسب بار کاربرد به عنوان Read Cache و یا Performance Tier مورد استفاده قرار بگیرد. سیستم همچون نسل قبلی دارای دو کنترولر مجزا است که میتوانند بصورت Active/Active یا Active/Passive مورد استفاده قرار بگیرند. همچنین با فعال بودن Advanced Data Services License روی این مدل، هر pool میتواند شامل سه رده فضای ذخیرهسازی Performance, Standard و Archive باشد.
از آنجا که هر کنترولر MSA 2062 دارای چهار پورت (بسته به مدل سفارش داده شده: 16Gb FC یا 10Gb iSCSI و یا 12Gb SAS ) است بنابراین میتواند مستقیماً و بدون نیاز به استفاده از SAN Switch به هشت دستگاه سرور و یا درصورت همبندی بصورت دومسیره (Dual Path) به چهار دستگاه سرور متصل شود.
در مقایسه با نسل پنجم، مدل MSA 2062 از کارایی بالاتری برخوردار است (تا 45%) و قابلیت های جدیدی نیز به آن اضافه شده است از جمله گروه دیسک MSA-DP+ RAID Group که علاوه بر کارایی بهتر و سرعت بالاتر انتقال داده، سرعت بازسازی RAID را نیز بطور چشمگیری افزایش داده است.
بطور خلاصه اگرچه ذخیرهساز HPE MSA 2062 از نقطه نظر قیمت در رنج ذخیرهسازهای میانرده قرار میگیرد ولی از نظر عملکرد و قابلیتها، با ردههای بالاتر نیز قابل قیاس بوده و لذا انتخابی ایدهآل برای اغلب کاربردهای ذخیرهسازی است.
